Transition Year Students programme with Rugby and French
May 2010: Transition year programme with Rugby and French. A challenging 3 week programme in a structured and disciplined environment with the goal of improving French language skills, rugby skills and personal development through various activities and workshops. We have 25 places in total.
Boys will attend the local French college. There will be 5 boys per class and they will follow the French curriculum. Classes start at 8.30-9.25 and run through to 12 35. The boys will also do activities with their school colleagues so as to help them integrate properly. After lunch rugby training, matches and activities such as surfing, sailing, paintballing, high-wires, hiking, will take us through to dinner at 7.30.
Evening class will run from 8.30
Full board accommodation.
Rugby development programme and matches against local French teams
Evening activities will include workshops on goal setting and motivation, understanding our own strengths and guest speakers from various professions covering topics which are of interest to pupils.
