Where we are

Supervisors

Your coaches are Nigel Osborne, Kelvin Leahy and they will be assisted by Bill Davison during August. They are all currently playing and coaching. All of our staff are first aid trained and have done their relevant coaching and referring badges. Our rugby curriculum has been put in place to run in conjunction with the Irish Rugby Football Union's long term player development programme. This deals specifically with rugby players of all ages from 6 to 70 and covers coaching, nutrition, fitness and the spirit in which young players should be coached. Our coaching mission statement is that all boys will learn the basic skills required to play the game safely, that they will learn and develop skills and self expression through a team game, there will be humility from working within a team and a responsibility for the safety and enjoyment of all players. We encourage healthy competition and enjoyment at all times.

Nigel Osborne is the course director assisted by former international players and now coaches Kelvin Leahy(Ireland) and Bill Davison (England). Guest coaches in the past have included Serge Betsen, Joe Roff, Garrick Morgan, Roger Uttley, Tim Horan, Richard Pool Jones, Stephen Aboud, Dennis Hickie.
